Royal Gold Advanced 30 Percent in 2017

During 2017, Royal Gold, Inc. rose 30 percent, beating the S&P 500 by around 10 percentage points. Part of this success is due to gold’s price being up 13 percent for the year. Royal Gold was well positioned to capitalize on this growth with around 75 percent of its revenue generated from gold. Royal Gold has seen annual dividend increases for 17 consecutive years.

Royal Gold is currently the top holding in the U.S. Global GO GOLD and Precious Metal Miners ETF (NYSE Arca: GOAU).
